The Company

FONTENLA S.A. is a family run business specialising in construction, promotion and service, which in 2010 celebrates 80 years of experience in the industry. The business has based its growth on the unwavering faith of its shareholders and the hard work and skill of its workers during three generations. The business’ registered office is located at Plaza Luis Seoane Torre 2, Entreplanta de La Coruña.

We have produced emblematic Works (The House of the Sciences, the House of Walls, The Caixanova Foundation in La Coruna or the Alfonso Kiosk, among many others), all type of administrative buildings (The Lugo Campus of the Santiago de Compostela University’s Library), some of which were delivered under the concept of ‘Project and Work’ (multi-purpose building for the Galician local government in Vigo) or the referential slanting building (Glass Tower in La Coruna).

FONTENLA S.A. is configured for the future as a general construction firm, with a professional and experienced team which has grown with the business and with its values. In FONTENLA S.A. we believe that the passage of time makes a business ever more strong and full of vitality.

In order to meet our objectives, it is insufficient to have the growth of the business as the only catalyst. It is necessary to invest and make society’s values our own. In this regard, for the period 2010-2013 we expect an investment in our business of more than €40 million. We are adapting our management systems to the principles of sustainability, engagement with the environment and continuing technical improvement. We are also extending our management systems to all areas of our business’s activities and all work related processes with an investment of more than €700,000 during this period, which will include a lasting programme of training for our employees.

These activities allow us to deal with projects of any type and of any economic dimension, responding to the needs of our clients with independence from the difficulties they have and the geographic location of the project.
